The Shining Paths by Dolores Ashcroft Nowicki

Simply the best book available for Pathworking on the Tree of Life.  It contains detailed explanations of each Path, followed by the actual Pathworking.  These are powerful and moving Pathworkings, treat with reverence and caution!

The second half of the book gives guided meditations for getting to know each of the Sephiroth, something seldom found in books on Pathworking.

The Tarot by Paul Foster Case

Dr. Paul Foster Case was a member of the Golden Dawn and established its presence in the USA.  He later set up the Builders of the Adytum (BOTA) in Los Angeles, which continues his work today (you can visit them here).  His work on the Tarot is considered to be one of the best and most accessible books on the subject.  We have found it to be of great help to the study of the Tree of Life.  The miniatures of the Tarot cards on the Eye of Horus website are taken from this book. The original versions are black and white, later versions are in colour.  You can also buy unfinished black and white tarot sets from the B.O.T.A for self-colouring as part of the learning process.

The Builders of the Adytum, with which SOL has excellent links, are a modern Mystery School in the Western Tradition.  Founded by Dr. Paul Foster Case, a former member of the Golden Dawn; and extended by Ann Davies, the BOTA has headquarters in Los Angeles and operates around the world.  You can visit them by clicking on their logo to the left.
